There's a brand new nightclub on the scene in Jackson, and this one's concept comes from a proven, successful formula. Modeled after the club of the same name in Atlanta, Dreamz is a three-story club and entertainment complex on the corner of Gallatin and Capitol Streets downtown in the building that formerly housed the similarly-minded club Tabu. Features of the club include plasma screens, private gazebos, VIP rooms, three bars and three dance floors. Expect to hear hip hop and R&B hits blasting out of the speakers provided by the DJ or most nights, and look out for live performances (like the recent one by Pleasure P on April 25) periodically. The Atlanta incarnation has made a name for itself as a late night dance destination (open until 6 a.m. on most weekends), so look for Dreamz to become a favorite place of those who like to dance the night away.
