Hal & Mal's Pub Quiz
For over half a decade, Hal & Mal's take on the popular British beers-and-trivia game pub quiz has been a popular Tuesday night staple. Currently hosted by quizmistresses Shannon Thornton and Laura Collins—both of whom you can see manning the bar when they're not bending brains—pub quiz allows teams of up to six to go head-to-head with a variety of questions for true trivia superiority. There's prize money, too. Each competitor's paltry entry fee of $2 goes into a pot with first, second and third place teams each taking home a percentage of the loot. Metromix stopped by the quiz on Oct. 28 and tried not to blurt out the answers while we caught the action on camera.
