Party pics: Ole Tavern on George Street
Good times have come back home—the historic George Street Grocery location, for years one of Jackson's top night spots and a destination for music lovers for decades, has sat silent since late 2007, but has recently been reborn. Now rechristened Ole Tavern on George Street, the new establishment will certainly bring back fond memories for past patrons, but it's obvious from the young crowd and new rock 'n' roll attitude that this isn't your daddy's George Street. Here's some evidence from when Metromix's camera stopped in on Dec. 20, when local band Goodman County rocked the house.
