CelticFest Whiskey Tasting
To the unrefined (or average college student), whiskey and scotch are probably just another means for getting drunk. But to the connoiseur, whiskey is a rich and varied world of flavors, colors, aromas and vintages, much like the world of wine is to the aficionado (bonus: it still gets you drunk). That's why on Friday, Sept. 11, as has been the tradition for the past 11 years, Jackson's annual Irish and Scottish heritage festival CelticFest was kicked off with the annual Irish Whiskey and Scotch Tasting, and Metromix's camera was there to capture all the quaffing action.
