Grand opening: Part 2
Billed as "the grandest grand opening ever," the multi-million dollar Jackson Convention Complex opened to the public on Saturday, Jan. 17 with an all-day free event featuring a wealth of activities that showcased the facility's myriad features. There was also live entertainment throughout the day by local artists ranging from the spicy sounds or Latinismo! to the hip indie rock of The Weeks. Metromix's camera was there to capture all the excitement of this momentous occasion.
