Every April, to take advantage of the cool spring weather before the oppressive Mississippi heat begins to take hold, the Fondren neighborhood holds a special edition of their monthly Fondren After Five event dubbed Arts, Eats and Beats. Just as its namesake promises, it's a blowout celebration of the area's unique art galleries, culinary delights and talented musicians. Metromix's camera hit the event to get funky, Fondren style.
