Fresh! Fresh! Fresh! Not americanized. Tacos were tasty not greasy, good value for my buck, served with a wedge of lime. Lots of menu choices that we'll be returning soon to try. Staff was friendly, speedy service.

I've been here several times and in the past, it's been quite well. The food this past week (12-15-09) it was so bad. The "host" seemed quite strange in his attitude, he seemed unsure of the special and had to go back and read the board, he was busy on his cell phone when we walked in and had to wait on him to finish his phone call. The waitress was so slow, and there were only 2 tables occupied in the restaurant. The food was disappointing, seemed to come out of a box or can. It seems they're taking short cuts on the food and it's obvious in the taste. We waited quite some time for our beverages, not hard to pour water and tea. I won't repeat the experience and return. I can get alfredo sauce better out of a jar.

We showed up about 6:30 on Tuesday, 12-15-09, restaurant was partially full and there were several empty tables. After standing in the doorway for several moments, we were finally approached by a hostess. She indicated the restaurant was full and they had several reservations and didn't have room for us. We asked what the wait time was, and she stated she had no room. I'm quite surprised by this and by her attitude, and have never been turned away from a restaurant in Clinton before. I counted 6-8 tables empty as well as several tables with the meals about to end. But this isn't the first time I've been to the restaurant and had a problem. On my last visit, we ordered crab cakes - they were out of crab. We then ordered steak - they were out of steak, we then ordered another item on the menu and we were offered a free dessert (wow - big deal lol) and one of the desserts we ordered - guess ... they were out of it. It was rather disappointing that night as well. The excuse for the lack of items was the truck had not arrived. I've eaten at Toulas several times, the food is good, but the last two visits make me questioning if I want to go again.

Went there last week and had a great dinner! Had the Dungeness crab and it was as good and cheaper than I have at my favorite spot on the coast (for the same amount of food). Wife and daughter had a salad and they were satisfied, neither are seafood eaters. With or without the family I'll be back.

Mr. Habib is the nicest man! His restaurant serves great food! The prices are very affordable. He has a wide variety of choices on the menu. For folks that don't like to venture out he has regular American selections. The grocery section is well stocked with quality merchandise. His Mediterranean dishes are the best we've ever had.

The negative reviews I believe are unfair. Recently ate at this establisment and enjoyed the meal and the service. The price I paid for a crab dinner was cheaper than the coast and it was every bit as good.

Couples is the place to be every weekend Fruday, Saturday and Sunday. a personal touch by management Big D and Hollywood where everyone is treated like being at home they offer professionlism at all times. Security is top of the line inside and out. The place to celebrate and have a great time.

I am from the Chicago area. I make it my business when I visit Jackson MS. I visit Couples. I have never not had a fantastic time at Couples. Couples makes you feel at home. The facility, plesant crowd, food, excellent D.J. Outlaw, knows what to play and when to play it. If there is no LIVE entertainment. Oh yes, Couples has some of the best, like Mel Waiter, & Marvin Sease to name a couple. Great dance floor, nice cozy tables, excellent service. My hat is off to the waitress & waiters. Can I say more? I can, how can I leave out the person who made Couples the perfect place for a great night out, and greets all her customers, the entrepreneur, MS HOLLYWOOD. GO SEE FOR YOURSELF!

Hi Clyde2, just to be clear: the restaurants we review on Metromix are selected by our editorial staff and freelancers and are solely reflexive of the writer's own opinion. Leah enjoyed Jerusalem Café (it was her first time there), but obviously you do not. Myself, I'm a resident of Fondren and I'm a big fan of Jerusalem Cafe and have eaten there frequently since they've opened. In fact, I prefer it to other choices like Aladdin. (Though Wraps is definitely where I go if I just want a good gyro). Thanks for commenting.

A comment: the above isn't a review, it's advertorial content and it reads as if Jerusalem Cafe paid for the writer's meal. If you've ever been to a city with a larger Middle Eastern population, you'd know that this amalgam of crap is the very definition of a restaurant that is trying to please too many masters. Add in the fact that the plates, tables, and visible service areas are filthy and you get a restaurant that's closer to four health code violations than four stars.

Me & my girls went to DREAMZ and I must say I was very very impressed. We all have planned our birthday parties @ the dreams. The music!!! Ohhh the music was off the chain big up's to the DJ. I use to frequent Freelons, not any more. Freelons is so played!!! If you have not been to DREAMZ you are missing out!!!! C U There!!!!... Oh yeah but the waitresses were ratchet!!!! They need better waitresses!!!! Otherwise it was off the chain!!!! Ohhh let me not forget the Bar Men!!! I tipped all nite long the drinks where on hit as well!!!!!
