Acclaimed singer-songwriter and Belmont native Mac McAnally—who recently scored a no. 1 country hit by recording a duet of his 1990 song "Down the Road" with Kenny Chesney for Chesney's hit album Lucky Old Sun—came to Hal & Mal's on Friday, Sept. 11 for an intimate show to promote his new album Down by the River, and Metromix's camera was there.
