As I Lay Dying live at Fire
If there's two things that will probably never go out of style in Mississippi, it's William Faulkner and heavy metal. In days past the two were rarely mentioned in the same sentence, that is until San Diego's As I Lay Dying came along, taking their name from the literary master's most accessible work and setting the metal world on fire. The Grammy-nominated band came to Fire on Friday, Feb. 6 for an all-ages show that also featured Canada's Protest the Hero, Los Angeles' The Human Abstract and Alabama's Mychildren Mybride, and Metromix's camera was there to catch all the ear-splitting action.
