Ben Payton benefit at Schimmel's
A benefit for local blues musician Ben Payton, who is recuperating following surgery after being diagnosed with colon cancer, was held on Sunday, Aug. 23 at Schimmel's, where Payton performs weekly. A number of big names came out to this open blues jam to support their fellow musician like Dorothy Moore, Chris Gill, King Edward and Dennis Fountain, just to name a few. Metromix's camera was there for this worthy event.
