Cajun Fais-Do-Do Party
One To One Studios hosted what was the first of hopefully many Fais-Do-Do parties, a dance hoedown that draws its inspiration and name from Cajun traditions. Local musician Jamie Weems, a local musician who got the idea to bring Cajun culture back to his hometown while studying at Louisiana State University Lafayette, organized the event. Weems' band The Scramblers performed, joined by the Vrai Boys, the Dixie Nationals and the Hot Tamales. Metromix's camera was there for all the spicy fiddlin' and dancin' fun.
