For most big-time musicians, summer means tour season. But before they reached the private jets and groupies stage of their careers, most rockers, rappers and country singers spent at least a summer or two sweating away at a normal job, from KISS frontman Gene Simmons’ stint as a lifeguard to No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani’s (pictured center) months as a Dairy Queen employee.
