Is there anything sexier than a good-looking guy who can write songs, sing (or rap), play an instrument, rock huge crowds, and maybe bust out a well-rehearsed dance move or two? (That's a rhetorical question, but if you really need an answer: No, there isn't.)

After much discussion, debate and mooning over sexy publicity photos, the folks here at Metromix settled on a list of 50 fine fellows who we feel represent that absolute pinnacle of musical hotness. Some are of the sensitive, acoustic guitar-strumming variety; some offer a little of that tattooed, tough-guy appeal; some are just your basic, archetypal rock stars. But they're all, depending on your tastes, pretty darned crush-worthy. Let's count them down, shall we?
