While Cups has been the mainstay of Fondren for years, any arts district worth its salt has room for two coffeehouses, right? Enter Sneaky Beans, the brainchild of young entrepeneur Byron Knight, housed in the State Street location formerly occupied by new age retail shop New Vibrations.  It's a casual, hip java house with a full range of beverages—and by full, that means beer and wine in addition to coffee drinks—that makes it a perfect laid-back hangout for college kids, starving artists and other bohemian types.
