Cheddar's Casual Cafe is a franchise with over 60 locations nationwide, and the Flowood location which opened in October 2008 marks the first Cheddar's in Mississippi. The franchise was co-founded by Aubrey Good and Doug Rogers, who opened the first restaurant in 1978 outside of Six Flags in Arlington, Texas. The franchise is dedicated to making wholesome, made-from-scratch American-style food at an affordable price. With a menu emcompassing burgers, sandwiches, salads, steaks, soups, barbecue and other homestyle favorites, Cheddar's is a fresh new alternative to the other tired American-style restaurant chains.
