Fat Tuesday's

It's the cajun man's dream. They sell their Comeback sauce by the bottle and their gumbo by the quart if that gives you an idea of how bayou this place is. They offer an expansive menu of southern soul food fused with creole flavor. Hence the New Orleans inspiration. Dinner is kicked up a few notches, in spice and scale with such entrees like the pan-sauteed snapper with lemon butter cream and lump crab meat. Shrimp po-boys and burgers are also featured fare. Daily blue plate specials range from Monday's Meatloaf/Country Fried Steak to Friday's Catfish (no meat for Catholics) and are priced aux bon temps.
