Basil's Belhaven is one of the three spots the Italian restaurant operates in the downtown area. Basil's is known for its pasta and panini's. The Belhaven venue is open for dinner with a more gourmet approach but with the same laid-back casual feel. They feature an array of pasta with fresh gulf coast seafood like grilled red fish, crab cakes and shrimp pesto. They serve beer but BYOB your favorite wine to accompany. The dinner served is quiet and more refined than the bustling business lunch selling paninis, fresh salads and daily lunch specials like the shrimp pesto pasta. One to try is the #3: a turkey panini with fresh mozzarella, tomato, pesto-mayo and thinly sliced deli meat on home-baked foccacia. Everything is prepared fresh. Their bakery also includes pastries with cup cakes, cookies, pies, muffins and more.
