Jo’s is a great new 1950s-style classic American diner. They are located off Old Fannin Road at the reservoir. It’s a definite blast from the past with their vintage ‘50s décor complete with a great jukebox and soda fountain style seating, which adds to the uniqueness and fun of this full service diner with a bit of the oldies thrown in.

The food: Jo’s serves up fantastic breakfast food all day every day with some of the best waffles you will find anywhere along with plenty of pancake offerings with great toppings and French toast, which are also a sure bet.

All types of breakfast plates of eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, toast and biscuits are made to order. There is no fast food cooking at Jo’s so come in sit back and relax with a steaming cup of Jo coffee to boot. Omelets abound with plenty of toppings and nothing is over $7 and that is all day long.

A daily plate lunch can be found seven days a week for $6.95 which also includes your favorite beverage. Featured lunches include meatloaf, chicken spaghetti, country fried steak, Salisbury steak, red beans and rice, spaghetti and meatballs, and baked chicken. Each day features a different meat offering with plenty of sides.

They also offer appetizers of nacho cheese waffle style fries, popcorn shrimp, and an array of side items to go along with the excellent selection of burgers, sandwiches and po-boys. They include a club, chicken (grilled or fried), shrimp po-boy, ham and cheese, deli turkey, a veggie burger, wraps, and baskets of shrimp or chicken tenders. Let’s not forget the all beef hot dogs that truly compliment the ‘50s style diner.

They also have salads like delicious chicken, shrimp, house or their chef special for the light eater.  A kids menu is featured with their breakfast and regular menus all day too.

Plenty of food offerings are sure to please everyone and the specialty sandwiches featuring eggs made just the way you like them round out their abundant menu.  All items are under $10 so you will have plenty of extra cash in your pocket after a really fun dining trip.

The drink: Jo’s Diner is a true soda fountain style establishment as you can order real old fashioned malts or shakes or a one of a kind float. All of their soft drinks, iced tea, coffee, and juices are soda fountain worthy.

The scene: Jo’s Diner is a swank new restaurant with a good old fashioned ‘50s style theme. Great oldies playing on the jukebox and the blast from the past photos and posters compliment the red and white booths and stools.

The great soda fountain style bar makes you feel you have stepped back in time or allows the young folks to enjoy what the the older generation already remembers.  Great food, great service and an all around fun experience await you with a full service wait staff that is friendly and ready to please.

Crisp and clean with a downright electric atmosphere, Jo's has brought something unique to the already popular reservoir area thanks to owner Jody Lang.

The bottom line: Good food, great shakes and malts, and delicious breakfast served all day long is just what you will find at Jo’s.

A comfortable, fun, exciting and enjoyable dining experience is just the right blend for people of all ages. Whether you are 1 or 100 years old, Jo’s is a definite must try.

Leave plenty of room for one of the homemade beverages whether you are breakfast or burger hungry the entire menu is worth trying again and again. A great drive thru window is available for you to call in your order to take along as you visit the reservoir for a fun day in the sun.
