A true soul food lover's haven. They have everything from smoked sausage to pig ears. All sandwiches are a dollar dressed with slaw, mustard and that includes the standard bologna sandwich you can't get at any other restaurant, besides Big Apple's other location on State Street. They are known for their tamales and other restaurants even have them catered to serve there (Soul Shine Pizza for example). If you're looking for a cheap, greasy fix, Big Apple is the place to tail spin out of the healthy whole grain granola world indeed.
