The restaurant was opened in June of '89 in an historic house back to back with the old George Street Grocery so you truly will feel like your at an antebellum family reunion. The oldies background music is only a small part of the nostalgia. The lunch buffet features daily varieties of vegetables: mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, greens, etc. and rolls to die for. Everything is homemade. And these ladies will make sure you leave absolutely stuffed as they top off the feast with their award-winning bread or banana pudding.
