Food was delicious! Had Parmesan Shrimp & Steak; husband had the House Steak. Steaks were very flavorful & tender. Sides were good. Green Bean Crispers are a great appetizer! Service was good; waitress checked on us several times

I have waited three weeks before entering this review to try to understand the manager and his decisions. Had a large group and he did not care if we ate there or went to any one of the other mexican places in town. I was ready to leave then but group decided to stay. After finally getting seated at our table we waited for twenty minutes to get drinks and salsa. We then waited on our order for another hour with no waiter in sight. Finally caught him and asked about our order and to talk to the manager. The waiter came back and said would be about ten minutes and the manager was in the kitchen working on our order. Fifteen minutes later we finally got our food and asked for manager again. We were told would be right out. Our order had just been made and was hot. Rice tasted like a salt shaker had been dumped in it and not enough shrimp on my daughters shrimp quesadilla to qualify as shrimp quesdilla. Again caught the waiter going by and asked for manager and needed refills. No manager. Another waiter helped with refills and we waited on checks and manager who still had not showed up to our table. Another gentleman at the table finally had enough and went to find him. The manager was leaning against the wall outside the kitchen with no intention of coming to talk to us. After telling him what had happened during our visit. He was full of excuses about how busy they had been, but no apology for taking so long with our order or why he did not come to our table to check on what was going on. Full of excuses but did nothing to take care of his customers. The owners need to take notice of the lack of customer service in Clinton and note that there are two other established Mexican resturants in town that will get my business from now on.

This place has, hands down, the best pizza I have ever had in Jackson. Fresh ingredients. Great sauce. And a delicious crust. We had the Chicken Fajita pizza. It was absolutely amazing. We'll definitely go back.

I was impressed when I saw the Ten Commandments at the front door. the food was awesome and such a variety of everything. The wait staff was very nice and the BBQ ribs and trimmings were just right. I love the dessert bar and really enjoyed my visit..........I was also impressed hearing that the resturant was closed on Sunday. Good for you... Lynn McEntire, Pine Bluff AR

My husband and I have visited this restaurant for quite some time, as the food was pretty good and the price good. However, the situation has gradually deteriorated. We paid a visit a few days ago (March, 2013), and it was awful! We were seated in a torn up booth where tape had been put over the tears. It had come loose and was sticking to my pants; very irritating. I made the mistake of going to the ladies room before eating. There were three toilets, and two of them had bowel movements in them, running over. The other one was covered in urine. The wall had what appeared to be brown feces next to the door. My stomach was quite queasy when I went back to join my husband as I could not help but wonder what kind of condition the Kitchen was in if the bathroom was so deplorable. I stopped a waitress on the way out and advised her but I did not want to go back to check for a followup before leaving. Oh, and there was NO toilet paper in the one working toilet stall. Another thing, I know they are hurting for business, but they make absolutely no effort to make their patrons control their children. We were seated close to a table with several adults that were extremely loud and distracting. They had children that were running around the buffet screaming and grabbing things off the buffet. They were as destructive as a class 6 tornado, but the management said nothing. When we left, I felt as if I had a rock in my stomach. My husband enjoyed the boiled shrimp, and we paid a hefty price for it, I might add. We both agreed after leaving that we would not be back. So, again, customers "gird up your loins" if you decide to brave it and go there. The only positive comment I can make is the little lady that waited our table was very nice and eager to help.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! If you value your health, it is probably best to avoid this place at all cost. The Olive Garden at 6347 Interstate 55, Jackson is the most disgusting restaurant in Jackson Mississippi. I found a nasty food date sticker in my Soup! Who knows what else has been served at this horrible establishment. I worked at a restaurant for years and I know this is very unacceptable. This usually comes from a kitchen staff that rushes food out to the tables with out caring about hygiene and sanitation. I alerted the waiter, who in turn got his worthless manager. The waiter was lazy and very inattentive. The staff did not seem friendly. The manager lied about covering the cost of the meal, and charged me for everything except the tainted dish. I decided to take pictures of the food while he was at the table. The inept manager said "You are not going to post these Facebook are you?" I said I wasn't, and was initially honest and straight forward about it until... I received my bill. Don't Eat Here Period!!

I am born and raised in South Louisiana and Crawdaddy's is just like the the crawfish that I grew up on back home. I have tried just about all the places in Jackson and this is by far the best. Much better than the Crawfish Hut. The crawfish are always a nice size and seasoned well. The fried seafood and sausage is also good. The staff there is always nice. I will be back all season.

i took my family here two weeks ago and we got to our table it took 15 minutes before the came to our table and it wasnt very many people there. finally they came and bought us drinks and the cups were dirty with food in them so we ask for new drinks and the owner got very upset. so when the food comes out they had the orders all wrong but we just ate any way some of the food we ordered was not cooked all the way. we also notice that bugs were everywhere and food left on tables. when we left the owner asked us why we did not eat and we told him some of the food was not done he got mad and started fussing and using foul words in front of our kids.

The service and food at this establishment leaves a lot to be desired. I was skeptical when we arrived because it was 8:30 and the place was empty. That should have been my first clue. We were basically the only people there. The waitress was supposedly the owner's wife. I ordered a dish that can only be described as nasty. I told the waitress and she replied tersely that it was a popular item, people liked it and she walked off. OMG!!!! Really?!!!! She didn't offer to exchange the dish, she didn't care to hear my needs as a customer, she didn't offer to comp the dish. Nothing. Where is the customer service? I didn't eat a thing. I didn't pay for that meal. After that interaction you couldn't pay me to order anything else from the menu. Needless to say I won't be returning.

This is the WORST Mexican restaurant I ve ever been to! The food and the staff was horrible and they have no customer service! We left a to go plate on the table, came back 5 minutes later and they had thrown it away. I ve never been to a restaurant where they won t fix more food or work with you at all. We also had an issue with a DISGUSTING salad that they wouldn t take off my ticket. I'll never eat here again!

Food was okay but very pricey.Enjoyed the atmosphere-they had Dain Edwards playing (I've heard him play at other restaurants in the Jackson area )and it was nice having a meal with a decent musician playing in the background.They need to bring their prices down if they want to attract a crowd.

First time eating there today. So crowded I had to sit outside with the flies and humidity. Found a seat inside after 15 minutes. Food was expensive but bland. What did I pay for? No ambiance--no music(later found they forgot to turn it on). I dont think they know what seasoning is...I make more exciting food than this and I dont even cook. Poor value. Wont be back.

I have ordered the pizza before and it pizza was GREAT, but I happened to get off of work late one night, didnt feel like cooking and ordered the wings. They were nice brown but greasey, on the outside. When I got in to sit down and eat , I took a bite and the wings were cold like ice on the inside. I called back to let the establishment know what happened. The MANAGER placed me on hold in the middle of me explaining what happened, then when I told her, she held the phone and didnt say anything. I asked her did they premake the wings and then put them in the microwave when an order comes through, she sternly/nastily repsonded NO, THEY GO INTO OUR OVEN. She placed me on hold and came back said because she couldnt find my ticket so therefore I didnt place an order. I responded with, I didnt place and order? and tried to describe to her the lady who rung me up she told me, I was yelling at her and hung up in my face. I called back twice to try to get an understanding and she hung up in my face a 2nd timem, 3rd time I got the GM he offered what could he do for me and I told him nothing,&basicaly told me , he have to go with what she told me and not listen to me as to how the conversation happened. I told him I didnt want free food nor a refund I was calling to let them know what happened so that they could tighten up on what comes out of the kitchen. I WILL NOT BE ORDERING FROM THEM AGAIN IF I SPEND MY MONEY AND GET TREATED THIS WAY. To have the MANAGER act in this manner after I sat in thelobby after working 14 hours , I spent my money at this place and waiting for 30 mins to have the food made.Then to be told I didnt spend my money there because there was not a ticket for it?? could it be that someone lost the ticket? Not to mention havign to eplain to someone that my food was not done , have her talk over me while I am talking and then accuse me of yelling at her because she wont let me get my description of the lady that took my order out , hangs up in my face not once but twice . Then to have the GM basically tell me that he has to go with what she said and not me, I spent my money there!! but as i go online and view more reviews on them, they have other disappointing remarks. It just seems that after the rave of how good they are , the manager felt like they couldnot have possibley made a mistake of not cooking my chicken wings and I wanted something in return, no , didnt want any money or another piece of meat , I wanted to submit my request have management listent to that so that they can continue to do better and to be treated like a customer...i will not be going back.

My husband and I were visiting relatives a few weeks ago. One of the highlights of our trip was to go to Berry's. We use to live in MS about 6 years ago. We started going to Berry's when it was at the previous location. It is by far the best seafood restaurant we've ever been to. The food is always fresh and delicious! I love the whole catfish, all you have to do is ask for it and they will bring it to your table. Since we've been in middle tennesee its kinda disappointing that there's not a seafood place that compares with Berry's. I wish there was one here!! We have always got excellent food and service all the years that we've been customers! Berry's has and always will be our favorite Seafood Restaurant, wish it wasn't so far away. We love the Seafood Buffet, something for everybody and it's well worth what you pay! Very Satisfied Customers!! Jack & Teresa

Had takeout from AJ's last night and the service was horrible. The staff were not knowledgeable and were very rude. They didn't give us one entree we ordered at all, and left the cheese and sauce off another. There was also brown lettuce in my salad. We will not return.

My husband and I enjoyed lunch twice this month at Fannin Mart in Flowood, MS., outside of Brandon. Absolutely everything we ordered was "just like Mama made." From the fried chicken to the bread pudding, every mouthful was delicious. The vegetables are cooked with seasoning, the rolled dumplings are made in chicken stock, and the biscuits/cornbread are homemade. Drinks are served in quart Mason jars and the decor is antique. Prices are very reasonable. This is a mother and son restaurant where all the locals flock for good Southern home cooking. Don't miss this treat!

When my daughter, granddaughter, and I arrived, an incident had occurred in the front of the restaurant so a waitress asked us to go ahead and seat ourselves. We found our seat in a back room along with another family to avoid the confusion in the front of the building. The food was spectacular, as was the service from our waitress, Shelia. Our waitress approached us to let us know that a large group was arriving, and that we could move if we want due to the possibility of the group getting noisy. As we would rather not bother anyone with the shuffle, we decided not to move. Later, another waitress approached us to let us know that the group had reservations, and she would be glad to move us to another waitress's area. My daughter asked about what kind of compensation we should receive if we do move. The waitress checked with the manager, and returned saying that there would be no compensation, and that if the tables were turned, we would want the same to be done for us. Then she added that it would be "the right thing to do." Due to the fact that we were mostly through with our meal, my daughter told the waitress that we would finish our meal here. A few moments later, a man poked his head in the doorway and started yelling at us. He was very rude, and I would rather not repeat what he said. He did, however, threaten to call the police to move us if we did not move. (I later found out that he is one of the managers.) Within minutes, a policeman was at our table demanding that we leave the building, threatening us with jail. He had my 7 year old granddaughter terrified and crying, saying she didn't want to go to jail! We moved. While in line to pay for our meal, I was speaking to a waitress to find out the names of all involved individuals, we discovered that the woman at the cash register was also a manager. While in line, she yelled at us, telling us to be quiet and wait until we got to her before we started talking. We tried talking to her reasonably, but she kept cutting us off and telling us "what we did wrong." She said that we didn't wait to get seated, and when we tried to explain what happened, she got louder and talked over us. Then she said that we refused to move and that the group that is in the back room had reserved the room a month ago and paid $100 as a deposit. When we tried to explain that we were not told of the situation until we were nearly finished with our meal, and that our waitress had initially asked if we would LIKE to move, she continued to rant. She told us that we just needed to pay for our meal and leave. She continued her rudeness as my daughter paid her for our meal, slamming her debit card down and refusing to take her pen back. The officer that was standing with us actually had to take the pen from her and place it on the counter next to the manager! Then he (the officer) told us that this is all just a misunderstanding. I have never had anything like this happen to me in my ENTIRE life!
