Alamo Theater

The Alamo was once the premier entertainment venue on Farish Street, the hub of Jackson's African-American community. Local legends like Dorothy Moore got their start there. Today, the Alamo is underutilized, though still in good condition. Hopefully the long-awaited Farish St. revitalization will expand the Alamo's usage.
